Designers Angelina and Ana from KBS Interior Design created a transitional home for this young family  with one baby girl. Located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, the home is meant to serve the  family for the next five years. The apartment is a very open space with lots of natural light. The couple  wanted a space to entertain and also to enjoy as a family. The project scope included: refinishing the  floors, painting the kitchen cabinets and built in, and furnishings for the entire living space and dining  space. Since this is the only living space in the house- it functions as both the family room and living  room. The space was designed to be highly functional, a workhorse, and aesthetically pleasant.
